Let there be Light 2018: No 6

Thomas Jefferson wrote "In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of

principle, stand like a rock."

I've often pondered that it's not what we look at in life that matters, but what we see.

Two people can look at the exact same thing and generate polar opposite responses.

What we see is largely driven by what we expect to see. and how it makes us feel is a function of how our minds interpret and give meaning to that which we spot in the sea of possibilities. What we then do about it defines us.

Focusing on what matters, interpreting it without prejudice or assumption and choosing a well-judged response is the continuous battle of the human condition. Banzai!!
